Origins of “I’m with Michael”

Back in September, before Michael’s first lung surgery, Bill’s AJC coworker and friend, Bill Rankin, posted photos on Facebook of his family with signs that read “I’m with Michael.” The idea quickly caught on and soon Facebook was filled with support for Michael and the Torpy family. 

When I asked Bill if we could use his idea to start this blog, he said "hell yes!" He also said that starting those posts was one of the best things to happen to him in 2017 and that thinking about the outpouring of support that followed still makes him emotional (which I think we all can agree with!)

In in the same vein, we asked family, friends and whomever to show some support and to also show how their thoughts drift to Michael and the Torpy family wherever (in the whole world!) they are.
